October Challenge - The Stamping Boutique...

Hi all,

Are you as excited as I am. Two days in a row. YIP to the EEE! I love it when I have time to craft.

This is one of my favorite Fall Images. I'm not a BIG Halloween Lover, so this kind of image is about my speed! HA! Anyway.... on their FaceBook Group page, they host monthly challenges and fun things. And I played along this month.

Normally, I would have the challenge image in my post, but when I moved blog platforms I lost most images. So, I will just post my card:

Recipe:

Image:  I am using A Crowded Mash image from The Stamping Boutique.  The Sentiment: was in my box of stamped and printed sentiments (I kid you not, I have a box).  Ink: Image colored with Copics and LetraSet Markers. Background water-colored with Stampin Up! Ink and water color brush. I forget the name of it, and it's not on their site. I use mine all the time. It's a clear plastic pen-size tube filled with water, with a paintbrush at one end.  Paper: PTI White, Scrap DP, PTI Night Sky Shimmer Card Stock, PTI Purple Polka Dot Paper. Extras: Ribbon and Buttons.

You still have a few days to play along. Check out the group.

Blessings,

Em

Below is the sketch I used.

I hope you liked my card.

i {heart} card sketches w/ a tWiSt #no.81

Happy Sunday Night all.

We have been BUSY with a capital B.... ok, make it all CAPS as you can see.

Anyway - I was so proud of myself that I'd done the sketch with a twist, only I did last weeks. So please go to the 2nd card if you are here fore #81. Here's the card I thought I was using until I figured out it was the wrong one......

Genius, Right? Sigh...

Well thanks to the super cool sketches, it's not so hard to whip something up. And so - please note, I made this card in less than 20 minutes. Sigh. It's NOT my best, but it is DONE - except for the part where I tried my puffy pens on the ribbon and I need to add a little dark purple back. ANywhoooo...

Please go visit From the Heart Stamps and check out all the entries to the i {heart} card sketches w/ a tWiSt #no.81

Here's the sketch image:

And here's my card:

Card Recipe:

Image - Gift Stack Birdbrain. Ink: Copics, Letrasets, Souffle Pens (which I will master some day). <3  Paper - PTI, Stampin Up, Scrap DP. Ribbon - Stampin Up and Scrap Ribbon.

And I used the same image in the first card that was last week's sketch. Sigh. Cute huh?

I hope and pray you all had a great weekend and a better week.

Love & Hugs,

Em

Kicking Off October with the Stamping Boutique

Happy October all you Crafty folks!

I hope and pray your day is going well. Mine is. It's early and I'm up blogging. We are about to start school too. YAY (I homeschool my child).

Anyway - I thought I'd share a couple cards I recently made from images by The Stamping Boutique. You might need some sunglasses, especially for the first one. It's so bright. lol

Recipe ~ Image Rose. Colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment is a stamp from Hobby Lobby, and the ink is Black Noir. Ribbon and paper are from PaperTreyInk. The DP is from my scrap pile. I love it. The Glitter Flowers are from K&Co (I think). I literally have all my small embellishments in a pink and while organizer. I should have written it down though. Anyway - I hope you like her. She makes me smile. In the inside, there is a BIG stamp of Happy Birthday!

Recipe ~ Image - Halloween Monster. Colored with Copic Markers. The paper is by PaperTreyInk. The DP is from Basic Gray (It's old, a pad called Eerie). The ribbon is from a ribbon club I was involved in at one point. And the sentiment cracks me up. My husband's idea. <3  Check out his eyes. I colored them and then put Glossy Accents over them. HA!

I hope these bright cards kicked your October off in a great way. I entered them both in challenges on TSB's Facebook Group Page. Join up and play along.

Love, Hugs & Blessings,

Em
