From the Heart Stamp - March Stamp of the Month

Happy Thursday Evening All!

Well, I've had this card done for a few days. I figured I'd better go ahead and upload.
I love From the Heart Stamps and here is the link to their March 2016 SOTM Post. Do you know what SOTM is? It's Stamp of the Month. You see if you play along, you get a free image to play with the following month, AND who doesn't like Free?

Card Recipe:

Image ~  Digging Dog, From the Heart Stamps
Sentiment ~ Suite Sayings, StampinUp!
Paper ~ StampinUp! Chocolate Chip
DP ~ Scrap Paper
Ink ~ Copic Markers, White Gel Pen
Embellishments ~ SU! Ribbon, Paper Studio Flowers, little pearls.
Particulars ~ What I did was put two sets of the flowers together, and make a long strip. Then I cut the main puppy image out and colored it all the same way. You can't see it, but the puppy is outlined in Wink of Stella.

It was a lot of fun to color and layout.

Thanks for another great image Faith.

I hope your weekend is great.
Blessings,
Em

Lamb Easter Cards

Happy Easter Everyone!
He is Risen Indeed.

The below is the Easter Card I sent to a few people this year.
I won't blah blah too much. I just wanted you to see them.

I originally made one sample without the flowers in the corner, to take to Card Group. But the hubs suggested I place flowers in the upper corner for balance.  He was right. lol

Here are a several of them together.

Here is one, a little bit closer up.

Card Recipe:

Image ~ Easter Lamb, StampinUp!
Sentiment ~ Suite Sayings, StampinUp!
Paper ~ StampinUp & PaperTreyInk
DP ~ Authentique 6x6 Pad, Treasure
Ink ~ Black Archival Ink - StampinUp. StampinUp Markers, and AquaPainter
Embellishments ~ PTI Ribbon, Paper Studio Flowers,
Particulars ~ Circle cut with 2.5 inch Circle Punch and strip of paper cut to take up about 1/3 of the card. I put dimensionals behind the lamb circle, and cut the ribbon to a length that I could just scotch tape on the back of the paper before I put the DP on the card.

You all have a great rest of your Easter.
God Bless.
Oh - and look back later for a FTHS Card - Sketch Challenge & SOTM!

Hugs to you all!

Sympathy Card...

Happy Rainy Tuesday!

A few days ago, Marque came home and said he needed a Sympathy card for a gentleman he works with. This person's wife had passed away. I do have a few in my drawer, but Sympathy cards, ya just hate to make, don't you? Sigh.

Anyway - One of my favorite stamp companies, Sweet & Sassy Stamps has the some of the best "Innies" stamps for Bible verses and just sympathy verses, so I know I always have the sentiment I need. The one I used was Sympathy Innies. And while I am talking about them, check out their Bible Journaling kits. LOVE!

Stampin Up has a set called Thoughts & Prayers. Love them. This tree and the branch are just so perfect for a card.

Card Recipe ~ Image: Thoughts & Prayers, StampinUp!; Sentiment: Sympathy Innies
Ink: Stampin Up!  Early Espresso and Elegant Eggplant.
Paper: StampinUp! Very Vanilla and Really Red. DP is from Creative Memories Scraps.

Embellishments: PTI brown ribbon. Paper Studio flowers.

I love making cards and I am always happy they make others happy!

Blessings ALL!
