Another Thank You - Cards...

Happy Sunday All.
It's fitting that on a day where we gather to praise and Thank the Lord, we would have Thank you Cards on the blog.

These were made using Another Thank You (Retired). Here's the set:

I just used one of the stamps (as you can see). Luckily for me, I have a bin of designer paper (scraps) and so I thought this would be such a great use for some paper I already have.

Here are a couple close-ups. I know the first is SU! Paper, I believe Botanicals. The rest, I have no idea. Anyway...

Card Recipe:

Paper ~ PTI White & Black. DP from scraps.
Embellishments ~ Organza Black Ribbon
Ink ~ Black Archival Ink

Directions ~ I stamped the card front, added DP and ribbon, then placed that onto Black Paper. Easy Peasy.

Thank you all so much for stopping by!

What I Love - THANK YOU Cards!

Hi there,

Happy Friday. Happy Veteran's Day to all who have served!

Today I'm continuing my Thank You Card posts. This is one of my favorite sets. It's called "What I Love" and it's from this past Sale-A-Bration season.  This is a picture of the set:

Here are the cards I made. You can see they are all slightly different, and the 2nd from the right is plain (aka no sparkle). I like it that way. AND there are two different Thank You's I used. More about that in the recipe.

Card Recipe:

Images ~  What I Love (Sale-A-Bration 2016)  StampinUp! The small THANKS sentiment came from a Paper Pumpkin Set. The Larger Thank You is from Watercolor Thank you (Retired)
Paper ~ PTI White & Kraft, SU! Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Real Red, Dapper Denim
Embellishments ~ PTI Rustic Jute Button Twine
Ink ~ Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Real Red, Dapper Denim and Black Archival.  Plus some Spectrum Noir and Wink of Stella Sparkle pens.

Directions ~ I stamped the card front, then placed it on a mat, then placed that onto Kraft paper. Easy Peasy.

I pray you like these cards!

Bip Bip Birthday Cards...

Happy Thursday!

Recently my middle grandson had a birthday and I just knew he'd LOVE this image, so I went to one of my favorite digital stamp companies and bought him.

Meet Bip Bip, from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Cute, Right?

I love the papers too. The Paper Studio sold a 12x12 paper pack years ago, called A Boy's Universe.  I love this pack.

Card Recipe:

Images ~  Bip Bip Birthday, Mo's Digital Pencil.
Paper ~ PTI White, Kraft and Black. AND DP from The Paper Studio.
Embellishments ~ PTI Rustic Jute Button Twine
Ink ~ Copic Markers, White Gel Pen, Sakura Pen (Sparkle)

Directions ~ I printed the digi stamp onto white card stock. Then, I colored him, decorated, and fanned out paper behind him that coordinated with the robot paper. Placed that on either Kraft or Black paper (as you can see).

I hope you enjoyed this little card. I sent one to my grandson. The other is in my birthday card stash. I always try to make more than one of each card. It's just a good habit (thank you Cheryl K).

Hugs & Blessings,

Timeless Textures Thank You Cards...

Hi all,

I know - I never post. I know - my blog is neglected... But I'm here, now... And before I get started, I wanted to say - I stink as a salesperson. While I am homeschooling my child, it's just not the right time for me to be a Stampin Up Demonstrator. And so - I've gone back to just PLAYING with and CREATING cards... and people -I'm happy.

So,  I thought I'd share a few Thank You Cards.

What I did this time was cut the card front and stamp/decorate it. I actually was making 12, but I messed one up, so there were only 11. LOL

These are the card fronts:

I will post three blog posts about these... Because three cards in one posts is a lot.

Here are the cards I will be speaking about tonight. I needed some thank you cards. And so, I searched Pinterest, and came across this card

at Stylin Stampin' InkSpiration Blog - HERE!  She used pastels and I decided to go with Neutrals.

Card Recipe:

Images ~  Timeless Textures StampinUp! The THANK YOU sentiment came from a Paper Pumpkin Set.
Paper ~ PTI White & Kraft, SU! Night of Navy
Embellishments ~ PTI Rustic Jute Button Twine
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand
Directions ~ I stamped the card front, and added the twine, then placed it on a Night of Navy mat, then placed that onto Kraft paper.

I hope you liked this card. I placed the picture with three cards here because on a few I used a light gray. I really had fun with it. No two are just alike.

Blessings all,
